ABOUT CAREPROST

WORKING OF CAREPROST

Careprost 3ml eye drops work by increasing the outflow of fluid (aqueous humor) from the eye, which reduces the pressure inside the eye. Bimatoprost works by selectively binding to and activating the prostamide receptors in the eye. This leads to an increase in the outflow of fluid from the eye and a decrease in intraocular pressure. USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Here are the general usage instructions for Careprost 3ml eye drops:

1. Wash your hands before using the eye drops.
2. Remove the protective cap from the bottle and shake the bottle well.
3. Tilt your head back slightly and pull down on your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
4. Hold the bottle with the dropper tip facing downwards, close to your eye.
5. Gently squeeze the bottle to release one drop into the pocket created between your eye and lower eyelid.
6. Close your eye for a minute or two, then gently press your finger to the inside corner of your eye for about 1 minute, to prevent the medication from draining into your tear duct.
7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 for your other eye if instructed to do so by your doctor.
8. Replace the protective cap on the bottle after use.
